hello and welcome to this step-by-step video in which we will show you how to use the camera of a Galaxy gear 2 device and how to transfer the pictures to the galaxy s5 please note you first need to connect your Galaxy gear 2 to your Galaxy device if you have not already done so please watch our video how to connect your Galaxy gear 2 and samsung galaxy device to start the camera tap the camera icon in the homescreen alternatively you can also access the camera icon by flicking the screen right to left until you see the camera app icon and then tap the camera icon now turn the camera towards the subject the camera is located at the top of the front face of the device to take a picture tap the touchscreen if you want to check the picture drag the screen right to left to record a video run the camera feature and tap the camera icon in the top left corner the camera icon will now change to the video recording icon tap the screen to start recording to finish recording tap the screen again you can watch the recorded video by flicking the screen right to left and then tap on the play icon to change the camera settings run the camera feature and tap the camera settings menu icon in the top right corner of the screen in this example we will choose sound & shot picture in the options menu tap sound & shot then tap on the sound and shot icon is now displayed in the lower left corner of the display tap the screen to start taking a sound and Shop picture up to 9 seconds of sound will be recorded you can view and listen to a sound & shot picture by flicking the screen from right to left please note a sound & shot picture can be identified by the small sound & shot icon displayed at the top of the screen after taking pictures the picture should normally be transferred automatically you can check and change the transfer picture setting in the Galaxy gear manager on your connected galaxy s5 on the home screen tap apps then gear manager then my apps and then tap on the camera setting icon you can change the data transfer option in the setting now tap auto transfer and change to the option you wish to use tap always to ensure pictures are transferred from your gear 2 to your Galaxy s5 automatically please note when using the gear 2 device the camera automatically shuts off when unused make sure the lens is clean otherwise the gear may not work properly in some modes that require high resolutions if your gear saved 50 photos or 15 videos you cannot take more photos or videos access the gallery and delete files you no longer require to create memory space or transfer files to your connected mobile device if you have transferred files to a mobile device and then take more photos or videos your gear will delete those files in its memory to free memory while charging you cannot use the camera application please follow this advice to get the best from your Galaxy gear device humidity and liquids may damage your device keep your device dry do not use a screen protector this causes sensor malfunctions do not allow water to contact the touch screen the touch screen may malfunction in humid conditions or when exposed to water that's it you've just learned how to use the camera of the galaxy gear 2 device and how to transfer the pictures to the galaxy s5
